Find Relief & Support for Tinnitus

Tinnitus is an individual condition which affects around 30% of the population.

For most people, tinnitus will simply go away as quickly as it arrived but for others it may linger a bit longer and become more noticeable over time. Some people find it becomes very distressing.

Tinnitus has two primary elements; 1) a physical issue which is related to brain activity and 2) A perceptual issue (our emotional response).

This extra neural (brain) activity is perceived as a sound and depending how we react to it on an emotional level will determine how loud the tinnitus is perceived or how problematic the symptoms impact on our lifestyle.

Whilst most cases (about 80-85%) are related to the hearing & balance system, the remaining 15-20% are related to anxiety, depression, stress, or other conditions & lifestyle problems.

Once an appointment is booked we will contact you to discuss your tinnitus issues just in case we need to refer you to another health care professional for emotional support
